Preusse began her career as an investment banking analyst at Merrill Lynch, later worked as a REIT sector analyst, and received NAREIT's E. Lawrence Miller Industry Achievement Award in 2015; she holds a mathematics degree from Bowdoin College and has served on its Board of Trustees since 2012.
