Born in 1969 in Bratislava, Martin Kúšik studied law at Charles University in Prague and law and economics at Universidad Complutense in Madrid. He co-founded Penta Investments in 1994 and grew it into one of Central Europe's largest investment firms before leaving in 2013 to found Odyssey 44 in 2014.
