He founded arabia.com (1996), the first venture-backed online business in the Arab World, and established the Technology Development Fund (2001), the region's first regulated venture capital fund. He co-founded Riyada Ventures in 2005 and currently focuses on identifying and supporting regional technology champions and global industry winners.
