Jeff Williams is the founder and CTO of Contrast Security, which he established in 2014 to provide automated application security using dynamic binary instrumentation to identify and block vulnerabilities. He previously founded Aspect Security, an application security consulting firm launched in 2002 and acquired by EY in 2017, and created OWASP in 2001, serving as its Global Chair for nine years and leading open-source projects including the OWASP Top Ten, WebGoat, ESAPI, and ASVS. Earlier in his career, he built high assurance systems for the Navy, taught the INFOSEC curriculum at the NSA, and chaired the Author Group for the SSE-CMM (now ISO 21827).
