He was previously a YC-backed founder and software engineer, and led crypto matters at the law firm Cravath, where he advised traditional institutions, DeFi protocols, and stablecoin issuers on M&A and enforcement issues. Earlier in his career he worked as a product manager at the New York Stock Exchange before teaching himself to code and launching a restaurant-ordering startup.
