Jan Goetz is the CEO and co-founder of IQM Quantum Computers, which develops quantum computing hardware and software. He holds a PhD in physics from Technische Universität München and a docent title in quantum technology from Aalto University, and serves on the governing board of the European Quantum Industry Consortium (QuIC). Goetz has been recognized by Handelsblatt as Founder of the Year in 2023 and by Capital magazine among its 40 under 40 in Germany in 2020, and has held roles with the European Innovation Council and the World Economic Forum.
