Diego Miralles, MD, PhD, is CEO of Laronde and previously served as President of Adaptive Therapeutics, where he built a therapeutics program on the Adaptive immunosequencing platform. He spent years at Johnson & Johnson beginning in 2005, working on drug development at Tibotec in Belgium, leading the Janssen Research and Early Development unit in La Jolla, and founding the JLABS incubator (2012) and Janssen Healthcare Innovation (2011). Earlier he held R&D roles at Trimeris and Triangle Pharmaceuticals and was an Assistant Professor at Duke University Medical Center; he holds an MD from the Universidad de Buenos Aires and is an Adjunct Professor of Pharmacology at UC San Diego.
