Brian Birk is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Sun Mountain Capital, where he serves on all of the firm's investment committees. He previously worked on the investment side at Fort Washington Capital Partners as Vice President and Director of Private Equity, and spent six years at the Boston Consulting Group in its North American Technology and Life Sciences practices. Earlier in his career he co-founded or held senior roles at several startups; he holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School and an undergraduate degree in Economics from Carleton College.
