Prior to Centricus, he ran his own financial and governance consultancy for nine years, including serving as CFO to two AIM-listed mining exploration companies, and previously held roles including Head of Risk and Compliance at Old Mutual plc, Managing Director at Bankers Trust, and Deputy General Manager of Audit and Compliance at Nomura Bank International. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant through Ernst & Young in 1982 and holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Zimbabwe.
