Colin Welsh joined SCF Partners in 2017 as a Partner. He previously served as Head of International Energy Investment Banking at Simmons & Company International, which he joined in 1999 and where he developed the firm's operations outside North America across offices in Aberdeen, London, and Dubai; Simmons was sold to Piper Jaffray in 2016. Earlier in his career he spent 16 years at Ernst and Whinney, Touche Ross, and RMD.

David Baldwin is a Partner at SCF Partners, which he joined in 1991, where he leads the firm's energy transition strategy and previously served as Co-President. He has supported the development of several public companies, including National Oilwell Varco, Oil States International, and Forum Energy Technologies, and co-founded OpenMinds, a non-profit coalition focused on energy and emissions. Baldwin holds a degree in Petroleum Engineering and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin, has served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Baylor College of Medicine, and received the Hoover Medal in 2018 for his work supporting persons with disabilities.

Deviyani Misra-Godwin is a Managing Director at SCF Partners, where she has worked since 2018, focusing on evaluating and executing new investments across North America and internationally and supporting existing portfolio companies. She earned a First Class Masters in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge, spent a year at MIT, and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. Earlier in her career she held operational and strategic roles at ExxonMobil and worked in the energy practice at Boston Consulting Group.

Garrett Jackson joined SCF Partners in 2013 and is a Managing Director, where he evaluates and executes new investment opportunities across North America, leads business development, and supports portfolio companies, with a focus on the downstream and industrial services sectors. Before SCF, he worked at Solamere Capital in Boston and held roles with Senator Mitt Romney's Free and Strong America PAC, including serving as Romney's personal aide during the 2012 election cycle. He holds a dual bachelor's degree in Political Science and Public Policy Leadership from the University of Mississippi and an MBA from Rice University.

Hugh Sheppard is a Managing Director at SCF Partners, having joined the firm in 2016 in Aberdeen before relocating to Adelaide, Australia, in 2021, where he handles deal sourcing and portfolio company support across the Asia Pacific region. He earned degrees in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology with Honours from the University of Adelaide and an MBA from Harvard Business School, and previously worked as a reservoir and completions engineer at Santos. His work has involved international acquisitions and mergers within the energy services space.

Sean Rice is a Managing Partner at SCF Partners, where he has worked since 2017 and focuses on the firm's North American investment strategy and portfolio, helping lead companies including Centurion, Pipeline Plastics, Camin Cargo, and Newpark. Before joining SCF, he spent 18 years in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman, Sachs & Co., most recently as Global Head of Energy. He holds a BS from Boston College (1994) and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (1999), and lives in Houston.

Adam Kerr joined SCF Partners in 2021, where he works on sourcing, evaluating and executing new investments in the UK and Europe and supports the firm's international portfolio. He graduated from Aberdeen Business School with First-Class Honours in Accounting and Finance and qualified as a Chartered Accountant after joining Deloitte, where he worked in the Energy and Industrials Financial Advisory practice. He later held corporate development roles at a private equity-backed energy services business and a family-owned food business, working on M&A and international expansion.

Ernie Danner worked at Universal Compression Holdings (which became Exterran Holdings following its 2007 merger with Hanover Compressor Company) from 1998 until 2011, joining as CFO and later serving as COO, director, and President and CEO. In 2011 he became President, CEO, and Chairman of Beckman, and he serves as Chairman of the Board of Nine Energy Services. He holds a BA and an MA in Accounting from Rice University.

Hossam Elbadawy is a Technology Partner at SCF Partners, where he has worked since 2018 and leads the firm's SCF Venture portfolio, handling deal evaluation and execution while advising portfolio companies on energy technology and technology strategy. He previously founded O&G Technologies, a Houston-based incubator for the oil and gas industry, served as Senior Operating Partner at Lime Rock Partners, and was CEO of Tercel Oilfield Products (sold in 2016), after nearly 17 years at Schlumberger as Vice President of Manufacturing. He holds an MBA and a Master's in Engineering from Northwestern University and a bachelor's degree from Ain Shams University in Egypt.

Steve Lockard is an Operating Partner at SCF Partners, where he focuses on energy transition investments and company platform building, drawing on 40 years in global operations leadership. He is the former CEO and current Chairman of TPI Composites (NASDAQ: TPIC), which he helped transform into a global wind blade manufacturer, and previously spent a decade on the board of the American Wind Energy Association while helping establish the American Clean Power Association.

Amanda Studebaker joined SCF Partners in 2025 as a Senior Associate, where she evaluates new investment opportunities, conducts market research, and supports portfolio company growth initiatives. She previously worked at Baker Hughes as an offshore field engineer and held engineering and operational management roles internationally, including in Germany, Malaysia, and Guyana. She holds a B.S. in Bioengineering from Rice University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Ananya Ganesh joined SCF Partners in 2025 as an Analyst, where she supports evaluation of new investment opportunities, performs industry and financial analysis, and assists with portfolio company initiatives. She graduated from Stanford University in 2024 with B.S. degrees in Product Design Engineering and Computational Biology. Before SCF, she worked as an Investment Banking Analyst in Wells Fargo's Financial Sponsors Group.

Cathryn Hart joined SCF Partners in 2024 as a Senior Associate, where she evaluates investment opportunities, conducts market research, and supports portfolio company growth. She holds dual degrees in chemical engineering and writing from MIT, and an MBA and MS in Engineering from Harvard Business School. Earlier in her career she worked at Pioneer Natural Resources in technical, operational, business development, and corporate strategy roles.

Cissy Xiao joined SCF Partners in 2013 as Director of Finance and ESG, overseeing investor reporting, financial analytics, SEC compliance, and accounting and structuring for portfolio companies. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin, completing its Professional Program in Accounting. She previously worked in the Securitization Tax Practice at Deloitte Tax LLP and as a forensic accounting specialist at Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP.

Griffin Doyle is a Senior Associate at SCF Partners who joined in 2019 before relocating to Aberdeen. His work includes managing the firm's marketing, assisting with proprietary deal sourcing, researching end markets, and helping develop the firm's energy transition strategy. He graduated with Honors from the University of Texas at Austin through the Business Honors Program, studied data science and AI during a summer in Cape Town, and previously worked at machine learning consultancy DataProphet.

Sara Davis is an Executive Assistant to the Founding Partner at SCF Partners, with 18 years of experience in the oil and energy industry. Her skills include calendaring, budgeting, event planning, notary services, customer service, sales, and strategic planning. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Supervision and Leadership from the University of Houston.

Scott Gammie joined SCF Partners in 2025 as an Associate based in Aberdeen, where he evaluates new investment opportunities and supports the firm's international portfolio. He earned First-Class Honours in Accounting and Finance from Aberdeen Business School and qualified as a Chartered Accountant at Deloitte, where he worked in audit for oil and gas and energy services clients before moving into accounting advisory. He later served as UK technical accounting lead at Worley.

Sippy Sellers is a Senior Associate at SCF Partners. Sellers has experience working internationally and volunteers with organizations that encourage women to pursue STEM careers and that support international exchanges.
