Jordan Blakesley has over 13 years of transaction experience, primarily in the speciality finance sector as a lender and advisor across the capital spectrum. He began his career at RBS working in structured finance, portfolio management and credit, then joined EY in 2015 to help establish its Financial Services Debt Advisory practice and later build its speciality finance M&A practice, taking part in more than 50 engagements.

Kieran McSweeney has more than 20 years of experience in structured finance, primarily within the speciality finance sector. He worked at Barclays and Barclays Capital, joined Morgan Stanley's Securitised Products Group in 2006, and moved to RBS in 2008 to build a lending franchise for the speciality finance sector. In 2013 he joined Shawbrook Bank, where he co-led the Wholesale Finance division, contributed to the bank's 2015 IPO, and later led its Asset Finance business.

Marc Sefton is a structured finance professional with over 20 years of experience in the speciality finance market. He began his career on the graduate scheme at Barclays before moving to an analyst role in its Financial Markets Team, and in 2008 he left Barclays Capital to help build RBS's speciality finance business. He later joined Shawbrook Bank in 2013 as Managing Director of the Wholesale Finance Division and went on to take sole responsibility for an enlarged Structured Finance business covering Block Discounting, Fund Finance, and the launch of the proposition in Ireland.

Alex Scott began his career at HSBC Bank in 2015 in the London Mid-Market Debt Finance team, later moving to Corporate Banking Origination working on acquisition, IPO and post-IPO financing. In 2018 he joined the Structured and Wholesale finance team at Shawbrook Bank, working on origination, structuring and execution of senior debt facilities across consumer, SME, property, fund and alternative finance. He holds a first-class degree in Bio-Medical Science with an intercalated masters from UCL and has completed the CFA qualification.

Liam McCausland is a finance professional with 13 years of experience who began his career on EY's school leaver scheme in 2011, working in the Restructuring department and qualifying as an ACCA accountant, before moving into Transaction Modelling in 2016. He joined Quilam in early 2018, where he specialises in financial modelling for the firm and its portfolio companies and has been involved in the origination, execution, and monitoring of portfolio companies.

Matt Glew joined Quilam Capital in 2021 and has 20 years of experience in financial services. He previously held customer-facing roles at RBS/NatWest across real estate finance, fund finance and speciality finance, including six years as a Relationship Director in the bank's Large Corporates & Institutions division, working with businesses in bridging, consumer finance, leasing, mortgage, SME finance, debt purchase and MSB sectors. He holds a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from the University of Brighton.

Nick McAuliffe has around 30 years of experience in specialist finance, working across various lending asset classes with an emphasis on intermediary-led distribution. He previously worked at First National and GE Capital, served as Operations Director at Commercial First, and was COO at the launch of Shawbrook Bank before becoming MD of Consumer Lending through its IPO. His later roles include COO at Octopus Real Estate and Partner in the property restructuring team at FRP Advisory.

Peter Keane has close to 20 years of experience in lending and investing across asset-backed finance and alternative credit in the UK and European markets. Before Quilam Capital, he spent seven years at Ares Management's Alternative Credit group working on asset-backed investments across ABS, structured credit, and GP-led solutions, and earlier was a Director at NatWest focused on debt financing for non-bank lenders and financial institutions. He is an ACA chartered accountant and holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Business Studies from the University of Warwick.

Chris Orford joined Quilam Capital as General Counsel in 2024 after more than ten years in private practice at Macfarlanes. His work there covered fund financings in leverage and direct lending, real estate transactions including a portfolio of central London hotels, and over £3bn of financings for family offices of ultra high net worth individuals. He also completed secondments at an investment bank, the real estate arm of a global bank, and a London-based emerging markets investment fund.

Isaac Price joined Quilam Capital from the HSBC Innovation Bank graduate scheme (formerly Silicon Valley Bank), where he worked in the Warehouse and Leveraged Finance teams on asset-backed, acquisition, and leveraged finance transactions. He previously completed internships in sports M&A and at Nimble Partners, a San Francisco-based VC and growth equity firm. He graduated from Durham University in 2023 with a degree in History.

Kirsty Sisson has 15 years of experience as a scale-up consultant and non-executive director, during which she has advised over 500 business owners on growth, branding, and exit valuation. She works across marketing, sales, and software, focusing on aligning commercial growth goals with day-to-day operations and designing sales and marketing activity to support post-investment growth. She holds a BA (Hons) degree and a Master's, and has been a Chartered Marketer for 10 years.

Natalie Sternberg has over six years of experience spanning finance, architecture, marketing, and events, focused on executive support, business operations, and project coordination. Her work emphasizes stakeholder management, process improvement, and operational efficiency across multiple industries. Outside of her professional role, she is a classically trained opera singer who continues to perform.

Tom Porebski joined Quilam Capital in 2022, having previously worked at Barclays from 2021 as a Graduate Analyst, where he gained experience in financial analysis, accounting, and risk management. He earned an Economics degree from the University of Bristol in 2020 and obtained the CFA qualification in 2024.

William Shorrocks completed a General Engineering degree at the University of Durham, where he specialized in computational modelling of renewable energy generation systems. After an internship with Quilam Capital in summer 2023, he joined the firm as a full-time analyst. His earlier internships included time at an EIS venture capital investor based in Oxford and at an engineering consultancy.
