Investment thesis
NSV applies systems-level research to identify inflection points and underappreciated value chains within the energy transition. The firm backs teams building hardware and software innovations from inception through Series B, and in select cases co-creates new companies with founders. Its strategy focuses on three primary sectors: energy (clean, abundant, secure systems), mobility (efficient and sustainable movement of people and goods), and industry (optimizing domestic production and supply). NSV supports capital-intensive companies with capital-efficient scaling plans drawing on venture, growth, project finance, and credit experience, plus strategic partnerships, policy expertise for B2G opportunities, and operational support. The overarching aim is to de-risk and scale technologies that transform the economy toward a more abundant future.
