Carlos Carbó founded Nazca in 2001 and serves as its Executive Chairman and Founding Partner. He began his career as an investment banker at Hispano and Schroders, later joining Mercapital and then serving as CFO at García Baquero, where he developed experience with family businesses and the food industry. He studied Economics in Madrid and completed a postgraduate degree at Harvard, and has over 25 years in private equity across more than 50 transactions.

Carlos Pérez de Jáuregui joined Nazca in 2001 and has participated in more than 30 transactions across sectors including food, retail, data centres, advertising, packaging, engineering and space. He currently helps lead the firm's Defence, Security and Aerospace fund. Before Nazca, he worked in capital markets at Ahorro Corporación; he holds a business degree from the European Business School (Madrid, London and Paris) and an Executive MBA from the Instituto de Empresa.

Celia Pérez-Beato joined Nazca in 2007, having previously worked for five years at Alstom and later specialising in M&A at investment banks including Bankers Trust and Deutsche Bank, as well as the Spanish corporate finance firm Arcano. She also spent a year at Valanza, BBVA's venture capital fund, and holds a degree in Economics and Business Studies from ICADE. She currently serves as MD leading the firm's family-owned SME investment strategy and sits on Nazca's Investment Committee, with over 19 years of private equity experience.

Daniel Pascual joined Nazca in 2007 and works in the financial and private equity fields. He previously worked at PwC, Management Solutions, and BBVA's capital markets division. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the Autonomous University of Madrid and a Master's in Finance from the IEB, and at Nazca he leads investment sourcing, execution, oversight, and fundraising.

Ignacio Portela joined Nazca in 2010 as Investment Director, became a partner in 2014, and took over the Selective Investments strategy in 2025. He holds a degree in Business Studies from ICADE (E-4) and Northeastern University and an MBA from INSEAD, with prior experience in strategic consulting (Bain & Company, KPMG), industry (Jazztel), and venture capital (Impala Capital).

Alberto Gálvez holds a Business Administration degree from ICADE (E-2) and joined Nazca in 2018 after six years working in M&A and corporate finance, providing investment banking and financial advisory services to family businesses and venture capital funds. As a partner at the firm, he has participated in more than 15 transactions spanning investments, add-ons, and divestments.

Catalina Chalbaud holds degrees in Law and Business Administration and worked for seven years in the M&A and Private Equity department at Uría Menéndez before joining Nazca in 2015. She heads Nazca's legal department and is involved in fundraising and investor relations, and sits on the firm's Management Board. Since joining, she has taken part in more than 20 transactions.

David de Bedoya is a partner at Nazca, which he joined in 2016, and is a member of the firm's Aerospace and Defence Fund team. He previously spent three years in investment banking at DC Advisory/Montalbán Atlas Capital in Madrid and worked in strategic consulting on pharma and biotech at Novumed in Munich. He graduated in Business Administration and Law at ICADE (E-3) and has around 10 years of private equity experience across more than 15 transactions.

Emilio Manchón began his career in the M&A department at N+1 (now Alantra), where he worked for four years before earning an MBA at IESE Business School. He joined Nazca in 2011 and has participated in 20 investment and divestment transactions. He is currently a partner in the firm's Small and Medium-sized Enterprises strategy.

Javier Allende is a partner at Nazca, which he joined in 2018. He previously spent more than eight years in M&A and corporate finance at the Royal Bank of Scotland and Globalvia, and worked in strategic consulting at Bain & Company. He holds a degree in Business Administration from CUNEF and an MBA from INSEAD.

Juan López de Novales joined Nazca in 2008 and serves as a partner at the firm. He previously worked at Arthur Andersen and spent four years in KPMG's Financial Advisory department, including two years in its New York office. He studied Economics in Malaga and completed a BA (Hons) in International Business in Southampton, and has over 18 years of experience in private equity.

Ramón Garnica joined Nazca in 2010, having previously worked as a strategic consultant at KPMG, where he handled commercial due diligence projects for private equity funds. He holds a degree in Business Administration from CUNEF and has been involved in more than 20 transactions during his private equity career. Since 2018 he has worked on the firm's family-owned SME investment strategy and serves on Nazca's Responsible Investment Committee.

Álvaro Jover joined Nazca in January 2026 after seven years in investment banking at Banca March and Auren Corporate. A Civil Engineering graduate with over seven years of M&A experience across more than ten transactions, he is part of the team responsible for the firm's Small Cap strategy.

Pablo García joined Nazca in 2026 as an Associate Director working on the firm's Small Cap strategy. Before Nazca, he worked for ten years in consulting and investment banking, starting in strategy consulting at Deloitte, then joining the M&A team at Banco Santander in 2018 and the Leveraged Finance team at Crédit Agricole CIB in 2021. He holds a degree in Business Administration from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.

Álvaro Yllera joined Nazca in 2026 after working in management consulting at McKinsey & Company and Kearney. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICAI) with a double degree from École Centrale de Lyon. He is part of Nazca's investment team for the Aerospace and Defense Fund.

Diego Carbó joined Nazca in 2022 and works as an Associate on the firm's Aerospace and Defence strategy. He previously held roles in investment banking at Arcano and worked at Azora and Nazca Capital, accumulating four years in the private equity industry and involvement in more than five transactions at Nazca. He holds a degree in Business Administration from The College for International Studies.

Elena Arcos studied Business Administration at the University of Seville and started her career in the financial industry working in control and accounting. She joined Nazca Capital in 2022 as Financial Controller, where she handles financial oversight, results analysis, and reporting.

Francisco José Mompeán joined Nazca in 2025. He previously worked for two years at KPMG Deal Strategy as a strategy consultant focused on commercial due diligence and value creation plans, and at Santander Corporate & Investment Banking as a research analyst. He holds a degree in Economics from IE University.

Gonzalo Carralero joined Nazca in 2022, having previously worked at Banco Santander, Nazca Capital, and PwC (Deals). He holds a dual degree in Bilingual Business Administration and Law from Villanueva University. He has five years of experience in private equity and works as an Associate within the firm's Small and Medium-sized Enterprises strategy.

Ignacio Ares joined Nazca in 2025 as an analyst working on the firm's Small and Medium-sized Enterprises strategy. He previously worked on the Private Equity team at Tikehau Capital in Madrid and on the M&A team at CaixaBank. He holds a degree in Business Administration from IE University and a postgraduate degree in Corporate Finance from the IEB.

Ignacio Pemán is an Analyst who joined Nazca in 2026. He previously worked in private equity at Fremman Capital and Alantra, and in the M&A teams at AltamarCAM and Greenhill & Co.

Ione Montalvo has over five years of experience in executive support, office management, and event and meeting coordination, working in international and multicultural settings across consulting, team coordination, and process optimization. She holds a degree in Psychology with postgraduate training in Neuropsychology and Business Administration. She joined Nazca in February 2025 as part of the back office team, supporting management and running the office.

Javier Perea is CEO of Food at DFI Retail Group, a pan-Asian retailer and member of the Jardine Matheson Group, where his division operates more than 500 food retail outlets across Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Cambodia and Indonesia. He has served as a director of the DFI Management Services Board since 2013 and sits on the Group's Management Committee, and he represents the Group on the boards of Robinsons Retail Holdings in the Philippines and Livi Bank. He has more than three decades of experience in retail, general management and leadership, including prior involvement in the group's 7-Eleven convenience business across Hong Kong, Macau, South China and Singapore.

José Luis Curbelo works in investor relations at Nazca Capital. He holds a degree in business administration and a bilingual master's in stock exchange and financial markets from the Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles. Before joining Nazca, he spent three years at AltamarCAM in the Funds Finance & Operations department of its Venture Capital team.

Lydia Esteban has over twelve years of experience in executive support and office management, including coordinating meetings and events and overseeing daily operations. She trained in Design and as a Senior Executive Secretary, and previously worked at Linklaters in Madrid. Since joining Nazca in June 2014, she has handled office coordination and provided executive support to the CEO, Managing Director, and several partners.

Óscar Dávila studied Business Administration and holds a Master's in stock exchange and financial markets from the Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles. He began his career at AltamarCAM in the Venture Capital team within the Funds Finance & Operations department, and joined Nazca as an investor relations officer in 2024.

Paula Canalejo joined Nazca in April 2025 and works as an analyst on the firm's Aerospace and Defence Fund investment team. She previously worked in PwC's Deals division within the Transaction Services and Valuations teams, where she earned her CFA Level I certification, and completed internships at Nazca Capital and in BBVA's M&A team. She graduated in 2024 from ICADE's international Business Administration programme (E4), spending her first two years at Lancaster University in the UK.

Rafael García joined Nazca in 2026. He previously worked for two years in strategy consulting at Bluecap Management Consulting and four years in private equity at Sherpa Capital. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICAI) and has been a CFA Charterholder since 2023.

Rocío Catón earned a dual degree in Law and Business Administration at ICADE (E3) in 2014, then spent four years in the Commercial Department at Garrigues advising on financial and banking law, capital markets, and corporate law matters. In 2018 she joined BBVA's Financial-Institutional Legal Advisory team, working on debt offerings and corporate governance. Since 2022 she has been part of Nazca's legal team, providing legal, regulatory, and compliance support and leading the firm's sustainability strategy.

Tamara Pérez-Mínguez joined Nazca in 2024 as Chief Financial Officer and Head of Investor Relations. She has more than 15 years of experience in private equity, spanning investment teams, fund financial management, and investor relations.

Victoria Irabor is a receptionist at Nazca, which she joined in 2026. She holds a degree in Tourism and Hospitality and previously worked at companies including BNP Paribas and CIMD Intermoney.
