The Moscow Venture Fund is a government-backed vehicle created by the Moscow city government to support the venture ecosystem in Moscow. It operates several programs across the startup lifecycle: grants for top graduates of acceleration programs, seed investments via preferential loans to innovative projects at seed and pre-seed stages, direct equity investments in technology projects at early-growth and expansion stages, and preferential loans to companies raising capital through IPOs on the Moscow Exchange.
