Investment thesis
Hayfin's secondary solutions (private equity secondaries) strategy targets equity exposure to leading European mid-market companies through GP-led structures such as continuation vehicles, transformational M&A financings, and minority recapitalisations. Working alongside private equity sponsors, Hayfin provides liquidity and additional growth capital that allows those sponsors to retain exposure to their most valued businesses while optimising value creation. The strategy is concentrated and high-conviction, focused on Healthcare, Technology, and Business Services sectors, and relies on Hayfin's local knowledge and origination capabilities to secure privileged access to assets unavailable in the primary M&A market. It benefits from strong alignment with sponsors and management teams who already own and operate the target businesses.
