Before Hayfin, he spent nine years at Merrill Lynch as Head of the European Leveraged Finance business and was a member of the European Investment Banking Operating Committee, following earlier leveraged finance roles at Bankers Trust and Deutsche Morgan Grenfell. He holds an MA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University.
