Chipper Cash

Maijid Moujaled co-founded Chipper Cash and serves as its President, overseeing the Product, Engineering, Marketing, and People teams. Before starting Chipper, he worked on the development and growth of mobile apps including Yahoo Mail, Yahoo Sports, Flickr, and Imgur. He earned an honors Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Grinnell College.

Brett Magrath is Chief Product Officer at Chipper Cash, where he sets the strategic direction of the company's products and services for its African markets. He previously co-founded Zoona, a mobile money business operating across three countries, alongside his brother Brad. He joined Chipper Cash's executive leadership team following the company's 2023 acquisition of Zoona.

Laura Kennedy is VP of Corporate Development at Chipper, where she leads investor relations, investing, and acquisition initiatives. She previously served as SVP of Business & Corporate Development at Techstars, and has completed $2 billion in strategic transactions across more than 20 countries. She holds a BBA from the University of Michigan and is a Venture Partner with NextGen Venture Partners.

Marc Gottschalk is the Chief Legal Officer of Chipper. He was previously a partner at technology law firm Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati and has held General Counsel, regulatory advisory, and business development roles at several emerging growth companies. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Grinnell College and a J.D. with honors from University of California, Hastings College of the Law.

Patrick Triest is the Chief Technology Officer of Chipper, where he leads development of the software behind the platform. He previously worked as a Software Engineer at Google on AdWords features, and before that at a technology startup in Delhi focused on improving data access in remote areas. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Grinnell College.
