Investment thesis
Cava Capital positions itself as a hands-on early-stage and development investor that does more than provide capital. Drawing on the principals' experience founding and operating companies, the firm aims to help de-risk and accelerate businesses as an active partner. Through Cava Studio, its portfolio company development strategy, the firm invests and works directly alongside entrepreneurs, taking a founder and owner/operator role rather than passively investing via the traditional venture process. Over more than a decade the team has started or co-founded more than a dozen companies, several with successful exits and others still operating profitably.
