Alexander Ross is Illuminate Financial's New York Partner, having joined early to help set up and launch the firm's first fund. He previously advised private equity funds on TMT and fintech acquisitions at Bain & Company, worked in JPMorgan's Technology division, and co-founded the online booking system provider Teamup. He leads the firm's work on crypto and digital assets, holds a first-class Master's degree in Engineering, and was a Research Fellow at the University of Texas at Austin.

A serial entrepreneur turned venture capitalist who launched his first company in 1982. He co-founded Real Media in the mid-1990s and later served as CTO of TACODA, a behavioral targeting ad network acquired by AOL in 2007, after which he founded Genacast Ventures.

Jai Das is President, Partner and Co-Founder at Sapphire Ventures with over 15 years of investment experience, joining the firm in 2006 after roles at Oracle, Intel Capital, Agilent Ventures, and MVC Capital. He focuses on enterprise software including AI/ML, data analytics, security, open source, DevOps, and crypto, and holds a B.Sc. from Brown University and an MBA from University of Chicago Booth.
