Investment thesis
Kronos Research is primarily a quantitative trading and market-making firm serving exchanges, protocols, investors, allocators, institutions, and founders in the digital asset economy. Its venture arm makes strategic investments into digital asset companies that advance the market. In February 2026 the firm announced that its venture unit, Kronos Ventures, would transition into an independent investment firm called Proxima, formalizing the team's long-standing independence and expanding its mandate.
