Investment thesis
Formed in 2008, Bendigo Partners seeks to capitalize on disruptive change in the global financial services industry. The firm argues that private equity value creation has shifted from leverage and financial engineering toward operational engineering, which is its core expertise. It invests in scalable financial services businesses spanning early-stage ventures to larger established companies, and deploys its own partners into portfolio companies to help build long-term value. Its approach is operational when consulting and participatory when investing, drawing on executives who have set up and run businesses worldwide across the Americas, Europe and Asia.
