What is the core problem you are solving? Why is this a big problem? What made you decide to work on it?

The founders address the gap between an AI app builder's quick first version and the harder later work of adding authentication, payments, user data, permissions, subscriptions, and analytics, where the AI fills unspecified decisions with guesses that conflict and make each new feature harder to fix and ship. They started x1 after repeatedly seeing users produce a demo fast and then get stuck in prompt-and-fix loops; x1 asks key questions first, converts answers into a plan, has users design screens before development, builds in milestones, and verifies each step.

What is your long-term vision? If you truly succeed, what will be different about the world?

The founders aim to let a single person build and run a serious app company by handling the full lifecycle: product planning, design, mobile engineering, backend, testing, App Store operations, monetization, analytics, marketing, and support. They intend x1 to retain context about the product, users, design, data, and past decisions and carry it into future releases, so one person can go from idea to launch to a growing business without a traditional software team.
