Silkline offers a supplier orchestration and procurement platform aimed at manufacturers of critical hardware. The product covers the procurement lifecycle across six functional areas the company labels Plan, Source, Procure, Track, Monitor and Comply: driving procurement from the bill of materials and calculating a clear-to-build date, issuing and tracking RFQs with secure part-file sharing and quote comparison, automating purchase order generation and approvals, capturing PO confirmations and managing open orders, maintaining supplier scorecards and documentation, and generating procurement documentation for FAR/DFARS and ISO/AS9100 requirements.

The platform integrates with customers' ERP, MES and PLM systems as well as email, Slack and other collaboration tools, with the stated goal of onboarding without requiring suppliers to change their existing ways of working. Silkline publishes a 30-day onboarding path that moves customers from connecting email and workflows and sending initial RFQs and purchase orders, to connecting ERP/MES/PLM and automating supplier check-ins, to migrating all orders and suppliers onto the platform. The company positions the software for high-trust industries and cites SOC 2 controls and storage of data in a US Government Cloud environment to support customers handling export-controlled (ITAR) data.
