Rondah AI, operated under the corporate name Sundown Technologies Inc., develops AI voice agents that act as receptionists for dental practices and dental service organizations (DSOs). The agents answer inbound calls around the clock, book, reschedule and cancel appointments, register new patients, route or escalate complex and emergency calls, and handle follow-up and reactivation outreach. The system connects bi-directionally to practice management systems such as Dentrix and Eaglesoft, creating patient records and appointments directly in the PMS.

Founding story

The company is named after Rondah, the longtime receptionist who ran the front office of co-founder Allan Svirsky's family dental practice for roughly 15 years. Co-founders Burhan Syed (CEO), Allan Svirsky (CPO) and Mohammed Mian (CTO) worked in that family practice across front desk and back office roles, and built the AI receptionist around the way she worked in order to reduce staff burnout as the practice scaled. CTO Mohammed Mian left a master's program in AI at the University of Waterloo to work on the company full time.
