Localyze

Localyze operates a software platform for corporate global mobility, centralizing employee cross-border moves for HR and mobility teams. Its service lines cover immigration and visa applications, work and residence permits and renewals, destination and settling-in services, cross-border compliance, workations (temporary work-from-anywhere arrangements) and short-term business trips. The platform supports self-serve or fully managed case management, budget and cost tracking and reporting, two-way data integration with HRIS systems, and a marketplace of destination and settling-in service providers ranging from airport pickup to housing. Localyze states GDPR compliance and ISO27001 and OISCS security certification.

The underlying process automation covers the practical steps of a relocation — visa and permit applications, official registration, arranging housing, and opening a bank account — with step-by-step guidance and progress tracking for the relocating employee and status visibility for the employer. In February 2023 the company launched a new talent-facing platform providing dashboard access on mobile and desktop to appointments, knowledge resources, partner offerings and documents. Alongside the software, Localyze employs in-house immigration and relocation experts who advise both employers and employees.

The company was part of Y Combinator's Summer 2019 batch and is headquartered in Hamburg, Germany, at Spitalerstraße 32.
