In 2019, one founder took over a 20-year-old family-run full-service car wash that lacked a subscription program and faced established local competitors. Rather than copy the standard unlimited single-wash model, they created a subscription combining multiple service packages for a recurring monthly fee. Unable to find suitable software (existing options were inflexible and quoted at over $100K), they built a custom solution, which then drew interest from other car wash operators.
