- The three founders—Aman, Kaishu, and Nikhil—met as students at IIT Roorkee and began Farmako as a college side project. The idea came after Aman's doctor changed a painkiller prescription upon learning of his prior back history, prompting the founders to consider a system where Indians' medical records are stored in one place linked to a unified Health ID.
