Copyt

Copyt is a resale management platform that consolidates inventory tracking, cross-listing, shipping, consignment and financial analytics into a single system for sneaker and collectibles resellers. The core workflow starts with scanning an item's manufacturer barcode, which auto-fills product details, followed by one-click listing to connected marketplaces and point-of-sale systems; when an item sells on one channel, Copyt automatically delists it everywhere else to prevent double sales.

The platform supports listing to eBay, StockX, alias, Whatnot, Shopify (online and POS), Clover POS, Square POS and Square Online, alongside the company's own Copyt Network, a marketplace where Copyt users can view and buy from each other's live inventory by SKU. Additional features include intelligent SKU autofill, UPC bulk scan-in, custom description templates, bulk pricing editors, CSV import/export, barcode generation, internal SKU tracking, location and sub-location tracking, discounted shipping labels, consignment intake and consignor payout tools (including PayPal/Venmo payouts), multi-location support, staff permissions and inventory audit tools.

While sneakers are the platform's original focus, Copyt has added support for apparel, accessories and other collectible items across both of its account types. Enterprise stores can be onboarded in under 24 hours when they have an existing inventory record in a spreadsheet, POS or website, with the Copyt team importing inventory before the store re-lists items from Copyt to each channel.

Founding story

The founders describe reselling sneakers themselves for over a decade and encountering difficulties logging inventory, listing it, preventing double sales and consistently sourcing new stock, which led them to build Copyt as a combined inventory, analytics, consignment and listing/delisting system.

Business model

Copyt operates a freemium SaaS model. The Individual plan is free and includes unlimited inventory tracking, cross-listing to StockX, eBay and alias, auto-delisting, discounted UPS labels, consignment tracking, an iOS app and financial analytics, with a 1.5% transaction fee applied on StockX, eBay and alias sales. The Enterprise plan is $250 per month per location (a separate page lists $300 per month in a comparison table) and adds multi-location support, Whatnot and POS integrations, consignment intake and payouts, advanced analytics, custom staff permissions and a dedicated account manager. A Shopify integration is offered as a $50/month add-on.
