Aerialoop

Aerialoop designs and operates autonomous drone networks for two principal uses: middle-mile and last-mile logistics, and inspection, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR). Its product line centers on the ALT6 family of hybrid VTOL/fixed-wing aircraft. The ALT6-8 logistics variant is a purpose-built delivery drone kept under 25 kg total weight, with a 34-litre internal payload volume and about 5 kg of payload capacity, intended for goods ranging from temperature-controlled medical samples to spare parts. The ALT6-ISR carries HD, infrared and night-vision cameras with AI-based intrusion detection, and an extended-range version adds a longer wingspan and larger battery for flights of over 120 minutes at lower speeds and ranges up to 120 km, with cells rated for more than 800 cycles.

The platform is built around low-Earth-orbit satellite connectivity, which the company says enables beyond-line-of-sight operation without ground-based communication infrastructure. Safety features cited include a six-rotor architecture with no single point of failure that allows mission completion after a rotor-arm failure (described as patent pending), a parachute, redundant flight systems, IP54 weather rating and accelerated life-cycle testing. Alongside aircraft, Aerialoop promotes multi-use drone ports that combine logistics and surveillance operations in a shared aerial-asset model, supplying aerial data as a service so that municipal users such as police and fire services need not own or operate drones themselves. Stated application areas include linear infrastructure inspection, emergency first response, firefighting, highway patrol, maritime surveillance and photogrammetry.

Business model

Aerialoop operates on a Hardware-as-a-Service model, signing multi-year recurring-revenue contracts rather than selling aircraft outright, and also offers drone and sensor rentals positioned as removing the up-front capital investment for customers. A complementary service layer sells aerial data as a service, and an online shop is offered for products and rental options.
