He previously co-founded Ikonisys in 2000, serving as Chief Technology Officer and President, where the company's cell-based diagnostic products were used in more than 300,000 clinical cancer diagnostic tests in the US and Europe. He holds a B.S. in biology and a Ph.D. in evolution and populations biology from the University of Athens, has co-authored more than 50 scientific publications, and is a co-inventor on 38 US patents.
