Tom Thompson

Tom Thompson is a partner and Chief Operating Officer at Stratim Capital, with more than three decades of experience in financial management spanning treasury roles at a multinational oil company and CFO positions at technology start-ups. He began his career at Exxon, later held VP Finance and then President roles at Manufacturers Hanover Leasing, worked on acquisitions and business development at Ziff-Davis Publishing, and served as CFO of early-stage companies including Digital Island. At Stratim he provides financial and operational consulting to portfolio companies and may act as an interim CFO. He holds an MBA and two undergraduate degrees from Northwestern University.
