Sarah Turner is the CEO and co-founder of Angel Academe, an angel network for women that she co-founded in the UK in 2014. The network has grown to more than 1,000 registered investors, around 70% of whom are women, and has invested in over 60 female-founded technology startups across sectors including health tech, fintech, enterprise tech, clean tech and ed tech, helping to leverage more than £200m in co-investment. In 2025, Angel Academe launched an EIS fund for female founders and received an additional £1m from the British Business Bank to invest alongside its angels and fund.
