Before becoming a full-time investor, he built and sold three businesses, the last being the Innovations Group, which he sold in 1995 and which completed the UK's first e-Commerce transaction that May. From 2010 to 2015 he served as a Venture Partner at Index Ventures. Across his investing career he has made more than 100 early-stage technology investments spanning the UK, US, Europe, and Israel. His portfolio has included companies such as Adzuna, Citymapper, Graze, MOO, Secret Escapes, Transferwise, and Zoopla. He has also served on public company boards, including MoneySupermarket and Zoopla, and holds advisory roles with the Tech City Advisory board and Silicon Valley Bank.
