About
Roberto Italia holds a degree in Economics from LUISS in Rome and an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau. He began his career in the telecommunications industry working on mobile telephony, then moved into private equity at Warburg Pincus in the UK and US and later Cinven in the UK and Italy. He subsequently launched alternative investment initiatives in Italy and Luxembourg and serves as a non-executive board member of several listed and private companies; he joined Verlinvest as CEO in 2020.
