He was previously an officer of MACC Private Equities, a publicly traded Business Development Corporation, served on the board of directors of the publicly traded company INST, and was a member of the founding management team at NetDocuments; earlier in his career he worked in the Business Development Group at Excite.com and co-founded Ranchlife Adventures, a cattle and guest ranch in Montana. He holds a B.S. in Entrepreneurship from Brigham Young University and an M.B.A. from the Marriott School at BYU.
