About
Motoshi Hayano is an Associate Professor at the Division of Molecular Biology of Aging at Tokyo University of Science and an Assistant Professor at Keio University School of Medicine, with research focused on epigenome-mediated drivers of aging. He earned his Ph.D. in 2011 from the University of Tokyo, later conducting postdoctoral work in David A. Sinclair's laboratory at Harvard Medical School, where he developed the "ICE mouse" model of epigenetic aging. He co-founded One Genomics Inc. in 2023, where he leads aging research and aging clock development, and previously served as CSO of Tsubota Laboratory, Inc. from 2017 to 2024.
