Mike Schroepfer (Schrep) founded Gigascale Capital in 2023 to invest in companies delivering climate impact at scale. Before that he spent 13 years at Meta, including 9 years as CTO, where he grew the engineering team, established the AI Research Lab in 2013, and led the acquisitions of Oculus and Instagram; he continues to advise the company as a Senior Fellow.
