Michele Korver

Michele Korver is Head of Regulatory at a16z crypto, where she helps web3 portfolio companies navigate regulation and liaises with government agencies and policymakers. She spent more than 25 years in government and law enforcement, beginning as a U.S. Secret Service Special Agent and then serving over a decade as a federal prosecutor focused on money laundering and transnational organized crime, later becoming the DOJ's first Digital Currency Counsel and subsequently Chief Digital Currency Advisor at FinCEN. She holds a B.A. from the University of Florida and a J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law.
