Michael Matsumura joined Scrum Ventures as a partner in 2023. He previously led early-stage B2B and B2C tech investments and strategic TMT due diligence at SoftBank Corp., and earlier worked in power and gas consulting at The Lantau Group and Arup, starting his career at Citigroup in Japan in 2007. He holds an MSc in Sustainable Energy Technologies from Delft University of Technology and a BSc in Physics from UCL.
