He served a four-year term as the Industry Representative on the US FDA Anti-Infective Drug Advisory Committee and currently is Chief Medical Officer of F2G Ltd. He holds an MD from Baylor College of Medicine, is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases, and was previously Professor of Medicine at UT Medical School-Houston.
