About

Jean-Baptiste Curien holds an engineering degree from École Polytechnique and École Nationale des Ponts & Chaussées in France, and has 25 years of experience across energy production and technology roles. He previously worked on carbon accounting as a consultant at EY, joined the startup Velcan Energy where he developed expertise in biomass and hydropower energy production in India, and later led a Norwegian startup building off-grid energy solutions using solar, wind, and batteries. He joined Nysnø in 2018, where he focuses on direct investments in technically demanding projects tied to energy and innovative industrial processes.
