He started at L'Oréal in operations and finance in Russia and later ran its markets in Uruguay, Argentina and Romania, following earlier finance roles at Sandoz (now part of Novartis) and one of its Philippine subsidiaries. He holds master's degrees in law and economics from Universidad ICADE in Spain and a post-graduate diploma from HEC in Paris.
