About
Javier Martínez joined Galdana Ventures in 2016 following nine years in investment banking. He was Vice-President of the Equity Capital Markets team at HSBC Bank in London, where he was the department's first Spanish member and helped build the ECM franchise in Spain, working on IPOs, follow-ons, and convertible bonds across several European countries and the US. Earlier he worked in the ECM and M&A departments of Banco Santander. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Deusto in Bilbao and is a CFA charterholder.
