Daniel Rodríguez-Martín holds two B.Sc. degrees in Industrial Electronics (2007) and Industrial Automation (2009), an M.Sc. in Automation and Robotics (2011), and a PhD in Automatic Control, Vision and Robotics (2014) from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, along with an MBA completed in 2020. His research focused on low-power inertial sensing technology and machine learning algorithms for identifying Parkinson's disease motor symptoms, and he is the author of more than 50 research publications. Since 2017 he has served as CEO and management board member of Sense4Care, where he has worked on medical device certification under ISO 13485 and EU Regulation 2017/745, and he is also a co-founder of LIFE Neurotech.
