He previously held product development and management roles at Broadcom working on semiconductors for communications, mobile, and power management, and is named as an inventor on multiple patents. His earlier investing experience was at Applied Ventures, the corporate venture arm of Applied Materials. He holds an MS from Iowa State University and an MBA from UCLA Anderson, serves as a Senior Faculty Advisor to its Entrepreneurship program, and is a Kauffman Fellow.
