Investment thesis
Yellowstone Capital Partners targets the lower middle market, acquiring established companies with roughly $10-50 million in revenue, positive cash flows, stable margins, differentiated businesses and competitive advantages. It backs proven, entrepreneurial management teams and provides resources to help them grow, relying largely on its own capital while selectively including co-investors and industry operating partners as value-added investors. The firm favors management equity incentives so teams think and act as owners. Unconstrained by a fixed fund life or lengthy approval processes, it structures transactions flexibly and times opportunistic exits. Current platforms include lower-middle-market buyouts, branded food and beverage companies, management buyout special situations, and mezzanine or structured finance.
