Investment thesis
Wilbe supports scientist founders through three pillars: a Foundation offering free resources, community and advocacy; Capital providing first-check investments; and Labs offering fitted laboratories and workspaces. It runs 7-day online 'Build Weeks' cohorts that take scientists and engineers from idea or prototype to investment readiness, with a proven pathway, feedback and direct access to the Wilbe team. Standout teams are considered for a $100K-$700K first check and a place in an in-person founder residency in San Francisco. Participation carries no fee and no equity, and Wilbe invests only where there is mutual fit. It targets the top 1% of scientist founders coming out of Build Week.
