Han de Groot is the founder and CEO of VOLT, a Dutch developer-operator of AI computing infrastructure established in 2025, and the initiator of the Rotterdam AI Gigafactory. He previously founded and led MetrixLab, a marketing technology company that merged with Japan's Macromill to form the Macromill Group, where he served as CEO until late 2015 and as board director until November 2016, ahead of the company's 2017 IPO on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
