Unfold Ventures

Adam Jarmicki is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics who began his career in private equity investing in 2004. He has worked with private equity funds and investors and in M&A advisory, and has served on the supervisory boards of numerous private and public companies.

Magdalena Surowiec is a graduate of the University of Economics in Wroclaw with a background in business strategy, process building, crisis management, and sales and marketing. From 2010 to 2014 she served as CEO of the Polish digital agency Lemon Sky, which was acquired by J. Walter Thompson in 2014, and she has worked on marketing campaigns for brands including Nestle, Orange, and Tesco. She joined Unfold.vc as a Managing Partner in July 2021.

Justyna Sowińska graduated from WSB Merito University in Wroclaw with studies in Management (Real Estate Management and Human Resources Management), and completed post-graduate studies in Payroll & HR and Project Management there. She holds a Certified Business Manager credential and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification. At Unfold.vc she handles daily administrative and regulatory operations, oversees stock exchange communication networks, and prepares periodic reports and the fund's external communication.

Rafal Sobczak studied at the University of Economics in Wroclaw and began his career as a data analyst at McKinsey & Company. He joined Unfold.vc in mid-2015, moving from analyst to investment manager and Partner. Since 2024 he has focused on building his own ventures while continuing at Unfold as a consultant and supervisor of portfolio companies.

Joanna Sitarz is the CFO and proxy at Unfold.vc, where she develops and oversees the firm's financial policy and supervises contract processes. She previously spent a decade at Telekomunikacja Polska SA and later Orange Polska S.A., holding roles including Head of the Accounting Department and Accounting Expert. She studied organization and management at Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin and completed postgraduate studies in accounting and taxation, earning an accounting certificate in 2010.
