Marie Korde co-founded Two Magnolias in 2019 with Jessica Rasmussen, where she serves as Co-Founding Partner and Head of Origination, leading the firm's origination and top-of-funnel strategy for seed-stage investments in sustainability and human health. Before founding the firm, she spent 20 years in global financial markets at UK and European asset managers and UK and US banks, and has invested personally in the tech sector for over fifteen years. She holds a first class honours degree in Mathematics from Sheffield University.

Barry Lawson qualified as a solicitor before entering private equity at 3i Group nearly 30 years ago, and has since held senior roles at firms including 3i Group, Bridgepoint Capital and CDC Group. In 2008 he founded The Private Equity Consultancy LLP, offering compliance, operational, fundraising and ESG services to small and mid-market private equity managers, and in 2016 co-led the MBI of The Fund Incubator Limited. He also served over a decade on the BVCA's Regulatory Committee and has lectured for Invest Europe, creating its Regulatory and Legal Master Class.

Michael McFall's background includes cross-border M&A and commercial work at GKN, followed by roles as a VC partner helping build the London offices of US law firms Dorsey and McDermott, Will & Emery, before establishing his own practice. Chambers Guide has recognised him as a leading venture capital lawyer. His prior client work involved advising investors including Intel Capital, Carlyle, and Motorola Ventures, as well as corporates such as Cisco, Pearson Education, and The Jim Henson Corp, and he now concentrates on technology and IP-rich ventures spanning creative media to AI recognition technology.

Mike Penrose specializes in risk, crisis and disaster management, and has advised businesses on social impact and sustainability. He has previously served as Executive Director of Unicef UK, CEO of Action Contre La Faim in Paris, and Global Humanitarian Director of Save the Children, working across more than 60 countries on disaster and risk management operations.

Stephen Geddes founded Mainspring Fund Services in 2010, which Apex Group acquired in 2023, and previously spent eight years as COO at Pi Capital. Earlier in his career he worked at Eden Capital and Hambros Bank. He is a graduate of the University of East Anglia and the University of Cambridge.

Roxanna Ramtin joined Two Magnolias in 2022 as Head of Operations, overseeing fund administration, compliance, payments, and investor relations, including LP onboarding and coordination with the firm's FCA-regulated entity. Before this, she spent 11 years at UBS as a Director in Prime Brokerage managing relationships with large macro hedge funds, and began her career at Morgan Stanley in Operations and the COO line. She holds a BSc in Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics and Economics (MORSE) from Warwick University.
